Redpath USA Corporation a premier full-service underground mining contractor is in search of an enthusiastic mission driven Human Resources Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will work closely with the Corporate HR Manager and other HR and Administrative Site Clerks to ensure the smooth operation of the Human Resources Department for our USA Operations. This opportunity is ideal for someone with an educational background in HR who is just beginning their career or someone who has previous HR experience but is looking to move into a more strategic role. Travel: Minimal travel to off-site mine operations as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant field preferred.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Human Resources field.

Will consider an equivalent combination of education, training and experience for the right person.

Must have general understanding of human resources policies and procedures.

Basic knowledge of employment/labor laws.

Working knowledge of MS Office products and HRIS systems.

Excellent communication and people skills.

Aptitude in problem-solving.

Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach.

HR certification is a plus.
